数码博主“数码闲聊站”爆料称，华为Mate 70系列的上市时间跟第一批骁龙8 Gen4、天玑9400旗舰撞档。目前可以确定的是，骁龙8 Gen4将于2024年10月发布，这也预示着，华为Mate 70系列将于10月正式发售。

2024年6月21日举办的开发者大会2024上，华为正式发布了HarmonyOS NEXT系统，使用鸿蒙内核和代码，不再兼容安卓应用。华为常务董事、终端 BG 董事长、智能汽车解决方案BU董事长余承东透露，华为Mate 70系列手机将于四季度问世。
