传配备MicroLED显示屏的Apple Watch Ultra被取消

集微网消息，苹果供应商ams OSRAM（艾迈斯欧司朗）近期宣布，在“基石项目”意外取消后，将“重新评估其MicroLED战略”。

Counterpoint Research显示供应链顾问表示，他们认为该项目与传闻中配备MicroLED显示屏的Apple Watch Ultra有关。该研究公司表示，产量低、成本高、风险大，可能是艾迈斯欧司朗取消该项目的主要原因。该机构表示，苹果是否会寻找其他供应商，或者坚持为Apple Watch使用OLED显示屏，还有待观察。

艾迈斯欧司朗表示，“与相关客户的讨论正在进行中”，因此并没有完全排除配备MicroLED显示屏的Apple Watch Ultra，有可能会进一步推迟。该设备预计将于2025年或2026年推出，具体取决于后续进展。

据悉，自2014年收购加州公司LuxVue以来，苹果一直在积极开发MicroLED技术。与OLED显示屏相比，MicroLED显示屏的优点包括增加亮度、提高能效、更高对比度等，但该技术仍然很昂贵。
