谷歌Google宣布2024年4月关闭Google播客应用

谷歌Google于今年 9 月公示，宣布谷歌播客（Google Podcasts）将被关闭，而在近日更新的官方支持文档中，终于公布了“关闭日期”–2024 年 4 月。

Google Podcasts（2016-2024 年）是 Google 继 Google Reader 驱动的 Google Listen（2009-2012 年）和 Google Play Music Podcasts（2016-2020 年）之后第三次尝试播客应用程序。

谷歌多次尝试进军播客领域，而 Google Podcasts 是其第三次尝试。谷歌此前推出了 Google Listen（2009-2012 年）和 Google Play Music Podcasts（2016-2020 年），但没有掀起太大的波澜。

在 Google Podcasts 关闭之后，谷歌推荐用户迁移到 2022 出的“4 号产品”YouTube Podcasts，或者 YouTube Music 上。

谷歌为此准备推出了“简单的迁移工具”，用户可以将播客 RSS 提前添加到 YouTube Music，包括当前未由 YouTube 托管的节目。

对于喜欢收听不同平台的用户，谷歌播客还支持下载其节目的 OPML 文件（一种 XML 规范的文件格式），用户可以将其下载并导入至支持该格式的应用程序。

谷歌播客的发布时间为 2018 年 6 月，至此已经度过 5 个年头。用户可以在该应用内订阅和收听喜爱的播客内容，支持手机、笔记本电脑、智能音箱等多种设备收听，分类包括搞笑、新闻、历史、音乐、商业、电视与电影、教育、健康与健身、技术、艺术、科学、体育等多个方面。
